This training covers the basic Public Health Information System (PHIS) navigation features and steps to document several different inspection verification tasks. Through several scenarios, you will click through each simulation to become familiar with the screen layouts, navigation, and the order of steps to document your inspection tasks. Each module is a simulation and not the live PHIS system. The instructor will preview each simulation, provide time for you to complete each one on your own, review the key points at the end, and answer any questions.
Inspection Methods - For students that have completed the course
Self-paced online training course completed within the week prior to starting the IM class. The training will familiarize IM participants with the basic computer/technical systems including how to use the Teams Webinar, FSIS Training Site, and the IM electronic testing system.
